It's a thought I've heard many times over the years as a counsellor.
The truth is, you're probably surrounded by people wondering exactly the same thing.
Over the years, I've had the privilege of supporting adults, children and young people through anxiety, grief, trauma, neurodiversity, relationship difficulties, low self-esteem and many of life's unexpected challenges.
One thing I've learned is this...
None of us are as alone in our struggles as we think we are.
That's why I've decided to start Inner Harmony Insights.
Every Sunday I'll be sharing a short, evidence-informed reflection inspired by what I've learned throughout my counselling career. Together we'll explore mental health, emotions, relationships and the experiences that shape us, in a way that's easy to understand and, I hope, reassuring to read.
This isn't about having all the answers.
It's about helping people make sense of themselves, challenging common myths about mental health, and reminding anyone who's struggling that they are not alone.
