Adult counselling

Adult Counselling at Inner Harmony Counselling Service

At Inner Harmony Counselling Service, I offer a safe, supportive space where adults can explore their thoughts, emotions, and challenges without fear of judgment. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or just unsure where to turn, counselling can help you understand yourself more deeply and find a path forward.

What to Expect from Adult Counselling

  • A Safe and Confidential Environment
You’ll be listened to with respect, empathy, and sensitivity. Everything you share is held in confidence, and your well-being is always the priority.
  • A Collaborative, Individual Approach
I use an integrative counselling style, which means I draw from several therapeutic methods to tailor the support to you. We work together at your pace, focusing on what matters most to you—whether that’s anxiety, stress, grief, trauma, relationship issues, or something you’re struggling to name.
  • Understanding, Not Fixing
Counselling isn’t about being “told what to do.” It’s about helping you understand what you’re feeling, why it might be happening, and how to move forward with more clarity and control.
  • Personal Growth and Emotional Relief
Many clients say they feel a sense of relief just from being heard. Over time, counselling can help you manage difficult emotions, break unhelpful patterns, build self-awareness, and feel more confident in who you are.

Practical Information

  • Sessions last 50 minutes
  • Available online across the UK and internationally, or face-to-face in Redditch
  • Frequency can be weekly or flexible, depending on your needs

If you're unsure whether counselling is right for you, I offer a free initial telephone consultation so we can talk about your needs and what you're looking for.

You don’t have to go through it alone. Whatever you’re facing, I’m here to help you find inner harmony, one step at a time.

Counselling for Children and Young People

Supporting young minds with care, understanding, and confidence.

At Inner Harmony Counselling Service, I provide a safe and nurturing space where children and young people can explore their feelings, build resilience, and develop healthy ways to cope with life’s challenges. Growing up isn’t always easy—and sometimes, young people need someone outside of family or school who will truly listen without judgment.

How Counselling Helps

Children and teenagers often struggle to put feelings into words. I use an integrative approach tailored to each individual’s age, personality, and needs. This may include talking, play, creative activities, or simply being alongside them as they process what they’re going through.

Counselling can support young people experiencing:

  • Anxiety or low mood
  • School stress or exam pressure
  • Bereavement and loss
  • Family breakdown or conflict
  • Bullying or friendship difficulties
  • Identity, self-esteem, or emotional overwhelm
  • Trauma, abuse, or self-harm

What to Expect

  • A calm, confidential space where your child or teen feels safe and respected
  • A therapeutic approach that builds trust and works at their pace
  • Regular reviews and optional parental check-ins (with the young person's consent)
  • A focus on helping them feel heard, valued, and more able to cope with their emotions

I hold a Level 5 Diploma in Counselling Children and Young People and have additional training in working with autism, ADHD, bereavement, sexual violence, suicide prevention, and self-harm.
